The Garden

This song has always held a spot in my heart. The simple beauty in the words astonish me.
To be able to worship in such a way thrills me.
The fact that these guys have dedicated their lives to praising God in everything they do is amazing. Every time I hear this song, and many others of theirs, I am inspired and broken down by the greatness of God.
This song is so incredibly powerful to me.
I mean.. "Father, let my heart be after you"
That has been my prayer ever since I really started to develop in my faith.
It's a hard thing to do though. Continuing to be faithful to running after Christ and all His being is not an easy task. There are difficulties that arise every day that have the power to bring you down and let you stray. But the thing is.. we give those difficulties the power.
So, with this song, and the words written above, I have made it my prayer and goal in life to seek God in everything I do.
Now, that does not mean I am claiming to be perfect, because I am far from it. But it does mean I'm not giving up on being like Christ when the world tempts me.
He isn't giving up on me, so I'm not going to give up on Him.
