Paradise

This past weekend was incredible.
Everything about it seemed perfect. Or at least as close you can get to perfect.

For the past few months, life has really started to improve. Actually, this is the best it's been ever, I think.
Everything seems to be going so well and things I've prayed about for what seems like forever are becoming real.

For the past two years, ever since I graduated, I've been desperately searching for some kind of Bible study, or youth group for people my age, but I couldn't find one.
Well, after dinner with my best friend and a friend of ours, we were invited to a college youth group.
So, the next night Asia, my best friend, and I decided to go to it. We were all for it until we actually got there. Then we started to get nervous since we didn't think we'd know anyone since David, our friend, wasn't going to be there.
Well, immediately as we walk in, we both see people we know. My friend Tiffany, who I have not seen in years, was there and it was like a good ol reunion of old friends [and it was!]
It was so awesome though. I totally thought that even if I knew Tiffany there, it was still going to be a little weird, a little awkward.
Not the case, at all. It felt so right to be there. Everything about it was exactly what I've been praying for. The worship was incredible, to the point where I felt tears coming up. It was just really intense and I hadn't felt that way in so long, it was amazing to feel it again.
I got along with the people and talked, surprisingly, a lot during the small groups, and even afterwards, to people I just met.
I never do that. I'm usually the quiet, shy one. Definitely not the one chatting it up.
It was AWESOME.
I really cannot believe that what I've wanted for years has been so close all along.
I'm going to go back next week and hopefully make this a regular thing. I really wouldn't mind getting to know these people and building Godly relationships with them.
